Technical Feasibility

  • Land identification and scoping
  • Planning constraints work
  • Preliminary grid availability assessments
  • Grant advice and submission

Landowner & Community Engagement

  • Build and sustain constructive relationships with the landowner and local community
  • Agreement of Heads of Terms and negotiation of the Option and Lease

Grid Connection

  • Initial pre-application surgery with the local Distribution Network Operator (DNO)
  • Grid connection application and acceptance
  • Managing the appointment of the ICP and progression of the grid connection with the DNO through to energisation

Planning Permission

  • Coordinate specialist inputs (e.g., ecology, archaeology)
  • Prepare, submit and manage planning applications through to approval
  • Arrangement of the discharge of planning conditions, including pre-commencement and ongoing

System Design

  • Conceptual and detailed design of renewable energy systems
  • Coordination of technical specifications and inputs for procurement and construction

EPC Tender & Contract Administration

  • Preparation of EPC tender documentation and technical specifications
  • Management of competitive tender processes and evaluation of contractor submissions
  • Support negotiation and execution of EPC contracts and associated project agreements

Project Management During Construction

  • Oversee project delivery during construction on behalf of the client
  • Coordinate contractors, advisers and stakeholders to maintain programme, budget and quality
  • Monitor construction progress, risk management and commissioning activities

Route to Market – CFDs, PPA & Export Agreements

  • Support securing Power Purchase Agreements (PPAs) and export arrangements with off-takers and corporates
  • Advising on route-to-market strategies and revenue optimisation
  • Arranging Contracts for Difference (CFD) qualification and bid strategy

Operation & Maintenance

  • Procurement and appointment of Operations & Maintenance (O&M) contractors
  • Asset management, performance monitoring and reporting
  • Support contract administration and optimisation of operational performance
