Barings appointed Low Carbon Alliance to perform a technical and financial appraisal for the potential installation of rooftop Solar PV at Glenbrook’s VOX residential building which was completed in January 2021.
The whole development was created around the theme of ‘well-being’. In addition to the rooftop solar pv installation, the Barings funded project features a rooftop running track, a yoga room, gym, and a social lounge area with an amazing feature cloud pine tree.
The model we provided gave VOX an estimated system of 48.84kW, based on a flat roof type system using ballast as supports, resulting in estimated carbon savings of 9,293kg/year.
LCA was then commissioned to secure an installer and project manage the installation. The delivery solution used internal vertical transport to limit costs to offer the project a sensible return.
